Inquiry Based Learning

At the Mediterranean College of Sport (MCS), inquiry-based learning is a fundamental part of their educational philosophy. By employing this approach, MCS aims to cultivate a dynamic learning environment that fosters curiosity and deep understanding. Through challenging tasks and open questions, students are encouraged to take ownership of their learning, think critically, and communicate their ideas effectively. Inquiry-based learning develops conceptual thinking skills that are crucial for success in academics and sports. MCS also emphasises continuous and formative assessment, personalised attention, and a supportive multi-disciplinary team to ensure holistic development for student-athletes. By monitoring their well-being and understanding their individual needs, MCS helps students become confident, resilient, and well-rounded thinkers and leaders, equipped to excel in any endeavour they undertake.
