The Role

We are looking for a smart and professional person on a FULL-TIME basis to manage our front office and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. In this role, the selected person will be the first point of contact at the School and its accommodation facility, Sport Star Lodge.  She/he will be in charge of giving members of staff, parents and visitors directions to the various parts of the premises contacting members of Staff, answering phone calls, taking messages, and sorting and distributing mail when necessary.

The selected person will be responsible to:

  1. Greet clients and visitors with a positive attitude.
  2. Directing clients and visitors to the respective offices as necessary.
  3. Assisting the School Leadership Team and the School Secretary in administrative tasks as required.
  4. Preparing and setting up of meeting rooms.
  5. Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
  6. Sorting and distributing mail if necessary.
  7. Provide excellent customer service to the whole school community

Qualifications and Skills:

  • In possession of at least MQF Level 3 level of education.
  • Prior experience as a Receptionist or in a similar position would be considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Multi-tasking and can work under pressure and on her/his own initiative.
  • Be competent in Microsoft applications.
  • Have a flexible approach.
  • Able to contribute positively as part of a team, by helping out with various tasks as may be required.
