Position: Sport Facilities Manager

Employment Type: Part-Time (late afternoon/evening)

Job Description: As the Sport Facilities Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations and maintenance of our state-of-the-art sports facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of the sports complex, including maintenance, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to schedule and coordinate facility usage, ensuring optimal utilization and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring and managing equipment inventory, ensuring all sports facilities are well-equipped and in excellent condition.
  • Implementing and enforcing facility policies, rules, and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all users.
  • Assisting in organizing sports events, tournaments, and activities held within the sports complex.
  • Conducting regular inspections and addressing any maintenance or repair issues promptly.
  • Coordinating with the administration and the finance teams to ensure that agreements with users and invoices for usage of the facilities are issued in a timely manner.
Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • A degree or relevant certification in Sports Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of sports facility operations, maintenance, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively interact with staff, athletes, and facility users.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic understanding of facility maintenance, including equipment upkeep and repairs.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to sports facilities.
