Benfica Football School Malta

The Mediterranean College of Sport (MCS) is proud to announce another season of the Benfica Football School Malta, starting from September 2026.

This exciting initiative provides young football players with a unique opportunity to train under the esteemed philosophy and methodology of SL Benfica – one of Europe’s leading football academies.

Programme Details

Ages: 

• Born 2015 to 2017
• Born 2018 to 2020
• Born 2021 to 2023

Sessions:

Participants can choose from the following training options in Malta:

• 1, 2 or 3 sessions a week (for players born 2015 to 2020) available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
• 1 or 2 sessions a week (only for players born in 2021) available on Tuesdays and Fridays.
• 1 session a week (only for players born 2022 to 2023) available on Tuesday.

The MCS Pitch will host all sessions in Malta. The detailed schedule starting from 7th September is as follows:

Additional Costs

Benfica Football Kit: €50 (Mandatory purchase for each child to attend the school).

In addition to training sessions, Benfica School Malta will begin playing friendly matches, organise a Benfica League on Saturdays and participating in international tournaments, including a training camp at the SL Benfica Training Centre in Lisbon.

Our training methodology emphasises both the technical and tactical components of the game, fostering skills like dribbling, speed, and game awareness.
