Our programme is dedicated to developing well-rounded athletes who excel in the sport of artistic swimming. Based on the Long-term Athlete Development (LTAD) model, our programme focuses on enhancing strength, endurance, flexibility, figure development, and concentration while teaching and advancing advanced artistic swimming skills. We also place a strong emphasis on team building and fostering important social and mental skills.
The Mediterranean College of Sport (MCS) is thrilled to offer a comprehensive and dynamic Artistic Swimming programme designed for student-athletes aged between 11 and 18.
At MCS, we believe in the power of collaboration, and our dedicated coaches work hand in hand with our multidisciplinary Sport Science & Medical department. This collaborative effort allows us to create a unified vision of long-term development, ensuring sustainable high performance for our student-athletes. Our coaching staff provides guidance and individualised training plans, tailored to each athlete’s unique needs and abilities.
Our Artistic Swimming Programme goes beyond technical skill development. We recognise the importance of physical conditioning, and our training sessions incorporate strength training, endurance exercises, and flexibility routines to enhance overall athleticism.
We also understand the significance of mental and social aspects in artistic swimming. Through team-building activities, mental skills training, and a supportive team environment, we aim to foster confidence, resilience, and effective communication among our student-athletes.
The Mediterranean College of Sport Artistic Swimming Programme offers student-athletes a comprehensive and holistic approach to their development. Whether athletes aspire to compete at the highest level or simply want to improve their skills and enjoy the sport, our programme provides the necessary tools and support.
